Description

There were 15 of us on this walk, and we were all of differing abilities and experience. There was a really good feeling on the walk. There were two people with lots of hillwalking experience, and very fast walkers, but they took care to wait for the slower ones, especially on the steep sections.
One person whom I hadn't met before was very nervous about heights, and asked me to walk on the outside of her at the slightly exposed path near The Spearhead. It was pretty cloudy at the summit of Beinn Narnain, and I found a sheltered spot just below the summit for lunch. Then we pressed on for the summit of Beinn Ime.
There were some fairly inexperienced walkers in the group, and some people described it as "a tough day", but everyone made it to both summits, and everyone seemed to enjoy the walk. We had a great laugh in Ben Arthur's Bothy afterwards.

Area : Inveraray to Crianlarich (Ben Lui)

From the Arrochar Alps to Ben Lui, this area is home to nine Munros. Half of the peaks in the area are within the boundaries of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, while the others lie to the west. The three summits of The Cobbler (884m) contain some of the best climbing in the Southern Highlands while Ben Lui in winter looks positively Alpine. Access is relatively straightforward from the A83, A82 or A85.
