Description

The Snowdonia Walking Festival is organised by the Betws-y-Coed Army Cadets and local businesses to promote the local area.
I provided adult supervision for the cadets and groups on walks 2, 3, and the Photography walk.
1. Betws y Coed Village – a tour of our village to places you wouldn’t usually find. Approx. 2 hours
2.Llyn Elsi – Wander through the forest behind St Mary’s Church up to Llyn Elsi & on to the forgotten village of Rhiwddolion. 2.5 – 3 hours
3.Llyn Parc – This walk takes in the disused workings of Aberllyn Lead Mine. 2.5 – 3 hours
4.Clogwyn Mawr – a ‘teeny’ mountain with big views. 3 hours
NEW for this year – a photography walk, Capel curig. Led by Landscape photographer Nick Livesey, who will advise on how you can develop your landscape photography skills.
2pm, Sunday 26th October, start at Tyn y Coed Hotel, finish at Soul of Snowdonia Gallery.
