Description

A lovely play up on Stac Pollaidh, the best little big mountain I think in the country. Scrambled everywhere we could, except to the actual summit point as a big patch of ice barred the way, and with no crampons none of us fancied the risk.
Smell easterly breeze and blue skies. Myself and six friends.

Area : Coigach to Cape Wrath

This area is situated on the north-western tip of Scotland and contains 4 Munros (from biggest to smallest); Ben More Assynt (998m), Conival (987m), Ben Klibreck (962m) and Ben Hope (927m). Also included in the mountains list are all of the peaks above 700m. The southern boundary is the road which joins Ullapool to Lairg and then to the A9.
