Start ay Little Town and walk up to Robinson. Follow the ridge around to Hindscarth then around to Dale Head before descending to Dalehead Tarn and ascending up to High Spy. Continue along ridge to High Spy North Top and down towards Cat Bells but descend towards Little Town at Hause Gate.

Essentially this area is encompassed by Lakes of Bassenthwaite, Derwent Water, Buttermere and Crummock Water with the southern boundary being the Honister Pass
