Myself and my husband took our friend up his first ever alpine peak. perfect conditions, and definitely worth going in June to the Alps now. Early cable car from La Grave, onto the route, Steve hadnt experienced glacial travel or such exposure before, so we both instructed him on route, a bit at a time. We moved together along the summit ridge teaching stave how to move the rope.
Had a 2 hour wait for the cable car back down.
