Description

Alpspitze (2628m)
An interesting day spent with 2 guys on the mountains, who had not been to this altitude before and little experience on the mountains. This trip was a mixture of Work and pleasure - after a long week in Augsburg, I had planned a couple of days with 2 colleagues in the German Alps.
I took the lead throughout the expedition - I had printed a route map for the route and guided the team up the mountain.
Guidance was needed on scrambling sections where I spotted the the team. Via ferrata was climbed - approximately 50feet, which was good fun.
Weather conditions changed nearing the summit with low cloud and poor visibility, however this lifted revealing the valley below which was incredible.
A very successful day with great team commoradery.
