Great day out scrambling. From Ogwen YHA went up to the devil's kitchen bowl, to the left of the slabs and scrambled up toward the cneifon arete. Up this (two pitch over the super polished section, then moved alpine style.
From here went down the Gribbin, up Dolman Ridge (short roping alternatively) with gear in one or two spots and a belay), down bristly ridge and up the south ridge of tryfan. Then the new path back to ogwen.

Glyderau
The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
