Description

Planned walk up to Ben Klibreck. Weather was very mixed, rain and very poor visibility closer to the summit and also occurred on the way back to the valley. Got misplaced twice due to the poor visibility and terrain. Managed to relocate myself using my skills. I encountered an eagle or an osprey on my way up. It was circling around but couldn't clearly see what bird of prey it was.

Wildcamp at the end of the walk. Became clear and sun came out in the evening.

Area : Coigach to Cape Wrath

This area is situated on the north-western tip of Scotland and contains 4 Munros (from biggest to smallest); Ben More Assynt (998m), Conival (987m), Ben Klibreck (962m) and Ben Hope (927m). Also included in the mountains list are all of the peaks above 700m. The southern boundary is the road which joins Ullapool to Lairg and then to the A9.
