A short start walking from the forest carpark, getting on to the peak and setting up camp on Moel Hebog a freeze dried ration pack for dinner for dinner and to watch the sunset. The next morning a much longer hike out heading clock wise around my route taking in the peaks of Moel yr Ogof and then some of the Natlle ridge before looping back around to the car. this was intended as a recce of part of the Paddy Buckley round which I had ambitions of completing while in Wales the difficulty of this section where it was mostly boggy or very technical rocky crags did dampen my enthusiasm for attempting the round.
A wonderful night and sunrise on Moel hebog , my 4th time on the hill , the first time i had managed to have a clear summit , it was very windy throughout the night.
