Description

Good visibility but strong winds at times. Looking like rain in the afternoon. Walking with my brother
Started in the campsite in Kinlochleven and headed to the east along the footpaths leading towards Loch Elide Mor. Followed the path up to the peak of Sgor Elide Beag and then headed up along the ridge to the NW. Short out-and-back to take in the peak of Binnein Mor and then up to Na Gugaichean before heading south along the ridge to the small 'peak' at the end called Leachd na h-Aire and then headed down the grassy slopes to pick up the track running though the valley and back down to the village to the campsite.

Area : Glencoe North (Loch Leven To Rannoch Station)

This area covers the northern side of Glen Coe and the mountains north of Rannoch Moor. Notable features include the Pap of Glencoe, the Aonach Eagach ridge (home to a few kilometres of horizontal scrambling) and the remote peak of Stob na Cruiache which is generally accessed from the train station to the east. Includes all major peaks above 600m.
