A 13 day trek through the Khumbu valley to Everest Base Camp. Starting at Lukla then onto Pakding, Namche where there was an acclimatisation walk. Then up to Tingbouche and Dingbouche where we had a further acclimatisation walk. Leaving Dingbouche we moved well above the treeline and up to the high mountain desert and to Periche below the moraine of the Khumbu glacier. From here we went to base camp and then back to the high village of Gorak Shep. return was via Periche and Namche. Excellent weather if a little cold at times but he views were brilliant.
