Description

A Rockhoppers MC trip based at Dewerstone Cottage, a small group asked me as an aspirant ML to lead them on a tour of bronze age sights! We parked at Shipley Bridge and headed north along the Avon to the Reservoir. We explored the bronze age settlements on Huntingdon Warren before striking pathless across the sodden moor to Red Lakes China Works. The return was made along the Two Moors Way to Three Barrows where we again headed across the pathless moor to visit the Neolithic long barrow at Ball Gate on the return to the cars.
