The winter climbs of Lochnagar are highly sought after, and they include several extremely fine routes of historical significance. As areas in the Cairngorms go, these cliffs are not too remote and in good conditions several parties may be found on the various more popular climbs.
Led the 2nd pitch, bit of a powder wade with one bouldery steep pull. Conditions were a bit sketch, not great ice but climbable.
