Description

Took my wife Sarah and my brother in law for his first hill day. The forecast was for miserable weather and gusts of 40+mph.
As a result of that I made the decision to stick to lower hills and head to the Pentlands.
Practiced pacing and timing. No navigation required as it is a route I know well even in the clouds.
The tops were interesting and the gusts were definitely in excess of 40mph. I advised them on how to walk in those winds and, where possible, kept them to the lee side of the slope.
