"Fundamental Bushcraft" course at the Woodlore, Eridge Park Estate, south of Tunbridge Wells, East Sussex. Seven days of training and 6 nights under tarp. Hiked daily. Moved camp to new location each night. Hiked in from site to site over the over hill country. Training included survival skills, knife craft, emergency shelter, fire craft, including bow drill, flint and steel, and fire steel. Wood selection, bow drill set carving, green wood carving (spoons) and fire lighting. Some day and night navigation, general camp craft.
