Description

A round from Llanberis, starting over Bwlch y Groes to Betws Garmon. It was mainly sunny with a few light showers. The summit of Mynydd Mawr was reached just after the hill fog descended. The return to Llanberis was made via Ryhd Ddu forest, the Rhydd Ddu path to the gate at 593 538, traversing round to Cwm Clogwyn, then Llyn Ffynnon-y-gwas and descending by the Afon Arddu.

The Nantlle Ridge is the name given to a small range of mountains in Snowdonia, north Wales which runs south-west from the village of Rhyd Ddu for a distance of about 9 km (6 mi), ending above Talysarn and Nebo in the Nantlle Valley.
