Description

Seconded Dan after a long day at the hostel. Probably cut it fine with the fading light. Thought thrast twopitches were rubbish but enjoyed the first two. Really had to think about positioning and balance but handled the moves ok. Good to start getting my head around VS climbing.

Area : Llanberis Pass

The one-time crucible of Welsh climbing. The fine crags of the Pass are easily accessible from the road. On the north side, the principal crags are: Dinas y Gromlech (bearing the famous line of Cenotaph Corner), Carreg Wastad (flat rock) and Clogwyn y Grochan. Further down the valley is Craig Ddu (black rock). On the south side, the principal 'roadside' cliff is Dinas Mot.
