I took part in a winter alpine climbing expedition of Highlander Mountaineering Club (Russia) with 8 other team members. This involved staying in a hut, camping on a glacier and alpine climbing at temperatures down to -30C. We climbed 5 peaks up to 5000m of D alpine grade. We also learned and practiced crevasse rescue techniques. This trip included 6 winter QMD during acclimatisation, approach, and descent.
