Description

I attended an excellent 1:1 Summer ML Refresher day with Si at Mountain Ascents of Windermere. We began by scrambling up between Swine Knott and Scout Crag before practising scrambling and rope work (including abseil) on Scout Crag. From here we crossed the steep ground over to Scale Gill where we ascended onto the summit and practised navigation around Blea Rigg and over to Stickle Tarn, before descending the path to the West of Stickle Ghyll to return to the car park.

Area : Central Fells

South of the A66 and east of the Hardknott Pass as far east as the Kirkstone Pass
