Lake Windermere - Frontier Bushcraft, Expedition Canoe Course with Paul Kirtley and Ray Goodwin - Day 2 of 5. Activities included more stroke work, with some longer distance travel to practice straight line running in both solo and tandem boats. Afternoon work included canoe rescue of one boat (tandem paddlers) in the water rescued by another tandem boat, and 'All in' rescue of both boat teams in the water. Great experience of cold water rescue, as the air temperature was 9C, and the water very cold.
