Lake Windermere - Frontier Bushcraft, Expedition Canoe Skills course with Paul Kirtley and Ray Goodwin. Day 4 of 5. Morning schedule included paddling south down the Lake and then forming up a diamond shaped canoe raft and sailing rig to travel back north the base camp under sail. In the afternoon we had training in packing up for a movement to a new camp site, waterproofing gear, loading and securing the load in the canoes, and then we traveled north to a new camp site. At the new site we set up our tents in pouring rain, as well as a cooking and group gathering tarp set ups. Heavy rain all day.
