
MTA "Mountain Flowers" Workshop with Jim Langley. Met at Cafe Moel Siabod for introduction and discussion, then moved to the Ogwen Cottage to start walk up Tin Can Alley up into Cwm Idwal to explore the mountain flowers in bloom. The walk went through multiple environments from bog to heath/moor to mountain/Alpine, identifying the different flowers native to each environment.

Glyderau
The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
