Description

Led Ross. Really suffered from bad rope tangles. This was unusual and I couldn't work out if it was me or him. Either way, it's on me as leader but it was our first time climbing together, so put it down to that!

Area : Llanberis Pass

The one-time crucible of Welsh climbing. The fine crags of the Pass are easily accessible from the road. On the north side, the principal crags are: Dinas y Gromlech (bearing the famous line of Cenotaph Corner), Carreg Wastad (flat rock) and Clogwyn y Grochan. Further down the valley is Craig Ddu (black rock). On the south side, the principal 'roadside' cliff is Dinas Mot.
