Route from Whinlatter pass carpark to Grisedale Pike across to Grasmore and down via scree on Grasmore to river then back to carpark. Walked with two friends. Wet and cold weather so had to shelter at the top of Grasmore near stones. Learnt the importance of incorporating current footwear into route choice.
