Description

Due to being very busy at work and needing a rest I didn't have enough time to plan a proper QMD and therefore opted to climb Mount Battock, a Corbett, Straight forward route, navigation and not to challenging walk. Main purpose was hill fitness, general practice and clearing my head.

Area : Braemar to Montrose (Lochnagar)

Listed in the SMC Munros Guide as ‘The East Mounth: Glen Shee to Mount Keen’, this area includes all of the peaks to the south and east of the A93. Still part of the Cairngorms National Park, these mountains are home to the north facing crags on Lochnagar (1155m) and the most easterly Munro, Mount Keen (939m).
