Pre Dawn start. From A5 lay by ascended to Llyn Bochlwyd and the up towards bwlch Tryfan. Traversed across to Glyder Fach main cliff and located Alphabet slab. Was planning to climb Dolmen ridge but the rock was sopping wet so decided to go up East Gully. Conditions were slippy but the route was okay. From summit of Glyder Fach descended Bristly Ridge. Ascended up over Tyrfans far south peak to higher col before taking path down towards Heather terrace. Followed terrace to little gully and ascended this and North gully to summit. Descended via North ridge back to car. Very wet rock.

Area : Glyderau

The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
