Description

From Gwern gof Uchaf, ascended to Heather Terrace, soloed Nor Nor Grooves (1+), before using the Eastern Traverse Path to reach the top of Bastow Buttress (2). Descended this (mixture of short roping, direct belays), before traversing Heather Terrace to climb Pinnacle Scramble (3+). Descended via South Ridge to Far South Col, then descended screes into Cwm Tryfan. With one competent 'mock client' (RCI holder).

The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
