Day one of two day lead climbing improver course (mock clients). Awful weather forecast meant all parties agreed that an indoor wall would offer an environment more conducive to learning. Broad range of topics/skills covered including: top rope and lead belaying, belaying two ropes, lead climbing on two ropes, retrievable abseil setup, basic problem solving for multipitch terrain including locking off belay plate, prussiking up a rope; climbing movement/coaching.
