Circular walk around from Meonstoke Village Hall. Followed the footpaths east and then south, before heading north up onto Old Winchester Hill. Views were absolutely fantastic from the hill. They reached over to the Isle of Wight. The night before had been very cold which resulted in the valleys being covered in mist.
Old Winchester Hill is an iron age hill fort and a popular spot for walkers, and Herdwick sheep!
Temperature today was low single figures. Weather was stunning with clear blue skies.
Conditions underfoot were icy and in some parts muddy.
