Description

Started at grid NY 3203 2458. Headed East through the disused quarries, Hausewell Brow and then along Old Coach Road, through Dothwaitehead to the track junction. Then headed West through the quarries to Sticks Pass. Took in the summit of Raise then headed North through Stybarrow Dodd, Watson's Dodd, Great Dodd and on to Clough Head. Then went North West back through the quarries to return to where the car is at the start.

Area : Eastern Fells

The Eastern Fells occupy the region between the A591 Keswick to Ambleside road and the lake of Ullswater to the west. The Helvellyn range forms the main spine of the group. To the south across the depression of Grisedale Hause, is the Fairfield group of fells.
