I started my career in the British Army at 18 and dedicated 20 years to serving in various regions, including Northern Ireland, Iraq, and Afghanistan. My military service also allowed me to participate in adventure training and work-related travels to different countries, such as engaging in sea kayaking expeditions in Cyprus, skydiving in Germany, and snowboarding in Austria.
In 2007, I embarked on a backpacking trip across 12 countries, and in 2015, I undertook a solo motorcycle ride spanning 29 countries across four continents, a trip that took 18 months to complete.
My passions centre around rock climbing and hill walking. I have achieved notable milestones, including obtaining my Mountain Leader Summer Award, NNAS Tutor course, and certification as a qualified Land Navigation instructor for the British Army. More recently I have qualified as a first aid instructor for First Aid at Work (FAW) and Outdoor First Aid.
At present, I work as a freelance outdoor instructor and still currently serve as an Army Reservists.
