Myself and Alex P skinned up from the Cas car park to the Ptarmigan, over to the E aspect of Cairn Gorm and we skied 'the numbers' down to The Saddle linking up fresh patches. We then returned up the same route avoiding any steeper sections and discussed managing a group in this situation. We looked at Ski touring technique, avalanche avoidance, terrain trap avoidance and line choice over the course of the day.
