Description

Clear with light wind, route was covered in snow, hard to get on the steep ice from snow slabs

Area : The Bridge of Orchy and Tyndrum Hills, Ben Lui and Beinn Udlaidh

The Bridge of Orchy Hills and Beinn Udlaidh are amongst the most popular winter venues in Scotland, easily accessible and providing a variety of turfy mixed and pure ice climbs. This area also includes Ben Lui and Beinn Chuirn, and the small number of possibilities on the other hills close to Tyndrum.
