Description

Mountain Skills 1 training Course, six clients. Comeragh mountains, Waterford. Again people turn up saying they cant navigate and very quickly find that they can, once they follow some simple steps. The variety of easy terrain here makes it ideal for beginners, lots of easy tracks to pace and time on, some steeper ground for later in the day.
Day two we go to lower but more complex ground, lots of small features like bridges and streams. Great weather and lots of good interaction. Obvious fitness difference between clients so I worked in a bit of group management for everybody to consider other in the group. engineer some stops...tie shoe laces, look at that flower...lots of chats and a good bit of laughing.
