Group of 2 mock mixed ability clients scrambling/walking day. Due to conditions we opted not to climb and ascended the classic N.Ridge of Tryfan scramble. Lots of rain and wind but with competent team we managed the majority of it without rope. Only used for short sections where rock was too wet for any decent friction.
Headed along ridge to Bwlch Tryfan and up the path to Glyder Fawr summit. We cut short the plan for the day due to conditions then headed down the Gribin Ridge to finish it and back along road to cars.

Glyderau
The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
