Week 1 of 2 back to back Great Glen canoe expeditions working as a Canoe and Expedition Leader for Mountain Water Expeditions on a Duke of Edinburg (DofE) Gold Residential for 6 people. Included in the 5 day canoe expeditions was 4 nights wild camping with camp craft skills taught by me, including Navigation, Night Navigation, Fire Craft, Ax and saw safety skills, and camping knots: Bowline with synch knot (Painters), Evenk Knot, Tight Tarp Hitch, Guyline Hitch (Tarps), Clove Hitch, and Highwayman's Hitch (Securing gear in boats).
Night Navigation included both in canoes, and along the Great Glen Way, using a map and compass, and pacing and timing in both light and after dark.
