Description

Aonach Eagach east to west with M, Helen & Mairead. Distinctly slimy after days of rain & rather worrying in places though we decided that we didn't need the rope. Found a better way down the slabby descent by going left on descent to drier rock. Descent from Sgurr nam Fiannaidh direct to road was less bad than i remembered.

Area : Loch Leven to Rannoch Station (Glencoe North)

This area covers the northern side of Glen Coe and the mountains north of Rannoch Moor. Notable features include the Pap of Glencoe, the Aonach Eagach ridge (home to a few kilometres of horizontal scrambling) and the remote peak of Stob na Cruiache which is generally accessed from the train station to the east. Includes all major peaks above 600m.
