MTA CPD event run by Mike Raine - leading the north ridge for ML’s.
Fantastic day out with like minded people.
Lots of learning and I finally was able to see where I had gone wrong all those years ago when I tried to ascend for the first time.
Sadly we didn’t make the summit - the 70mph gusts were just too much and at the last col before the top we decided to retreat via the east gully down onto the climbers path. Looking forward to my next attempt!

Glyderau
The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
