Description

Lots of chandaleers and as we walked away it started to fall down in the bottom section. Top sections provided some very good soloing to the top. Tough walking conditions down and in.

Area : Galloway and the Southern Uplands

The Galloway Hills can provide some rare and infrequented winter climbing opportunities, while in a very cold winter the icefalls that form in the Southern Uplands can become transiently popular, the most notable of which is the Grey Mare's Tail.
