Introduction to scrambling for Chris. Had previous mountain experience- confident and fit. Started at Idwal car park, scrambled up the 'False Gribin' in Cwm Bochlwyd to Glyder Fawr. Excellent training ground for beginners. Noted a Heath Spotted Orchid near to Llyn Bochlwyd. Made excellent speed and had looped back to car in around 4 hours. Really good afternoon and end to my fifth consecutive mountain day.

Glyderau
The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
