Super day guiding a regular lady ticking the wainwrights. We clocked up 18km, 7 hills in 5.5 hours. including sitting for a lovely view stop on Grasmoor. Stunning day, sunny, hardly a breeze. Lady has had extensive coaching on steep ground previously from me and is now mastering it really well.

Essentially this area is encompassed by Lakes of Bassenthwaite, Derwent Water, Buttermere and Crummock Water with the southern boundary being the Honister Pass
