Guiding 3 ladies who wished to summit Snowdon, the weather wasn't very good on their first day, so we walked up to the col between Tryfan and Bristly ridge, then returned directly to Llyn Ogwen to complete a circuit around it and back to Ogwen cottage. This did give me the opportunity to see the ability of the ladies before our Snowdon walk. Raining and pretty unpleasant!

Glyderau
The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
