Winter walk in new snow, so lots of braking trail off the footpaths on to Carnedd Daffyd.
Crampons were fitted once on to the ridge and were needed on the compacted snow coming off Pen Yr ole wen.
The light was just starting to fade as we came off the hill so head torches were just about needed.
