I have been enjoying different forms of mountaineering for 30 years and this has allowed me to spend time in the mountainous regions of the UK, the European Alps both in the summer and winter conditions and I have completed an ascent of Island Peak in Nepal to 6189m.
I am from and live in Liverpool but a lot of my weekends are spent in Snowdonia which has become a kind of second home.
I have experience working with youth and adult groups in mountain walking, basic scrambling and rock climbing.
This has allowed me to give people their first experiences in the mountains, show others some basic skills which will enable them to enjoy the mountains more and also helped
develop more experienced mountain walkers and climbers.
I have worked for the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme for 25 years both supervising expeditions and developing walking, navigation and camp craft skills.

NaNI have been a Mountain Leader myself for a number of years and Nick is somebody who not only introduced me to the outdoors but played a key part in teaching me many of the skills and techniques for working and enjoying the outdoor mountainous environment. I have worked with Nick on many occasions, he has always been and remains very professional whilst in the mountains. He is very capable and confident when working and looking after clients of all ages, not only in mountainous environments but also prior to and after an outing or expedition. Nick has supported me on several leads in recent times and I know I can rely on him and trust him in what he is doing, whether this being advising/supporting clients or when checking navigation etc with him. His mountain skills are, in my opinion, of a high standard.
