Description

Can't really remember the date*
It was definitely late summer.
the first 2 pitches were very chosey* but once your onto the flake and into the crack it is incredible, short lived and definitely worth the
1*
alt lead with Jack Morris. Even climbed it in t shirts and stopped for a sandwich on the ledge.
- definitely one to do in the winter!

Area : Loch A'an Basin (Summer)

The Loch A'an Basin is a wildly beautiful place to climb in summer, a complete contrast to the busy part of Cairngorm just to the north. The long, high quality routes of the Shelter Stone Crag take pride of place, but the slabs of Hell's Lum are also popular after a dry spell. There are several very worthwhile climbs on Stag Rocks and Stac an Fharaidh.
