This 7 day expedition was for Jagged Globe:
Overview:
A group of 7 people all with good mountain experience.
3 individuals chose to not summit both Was Ouakrim and Toubkal, the rest of the group managed both peaks.
Conditions:
Really windy on summit day for Toubkal, group management was really key, the day before summit we did a skills day where we practised moving on snow and winter skills.
Summit day on Ras Oukrim was good, hard snow so keeping the group vigilant and safe was very important, exposed slopes and hard snow made for challenging leadership.
However I had a lot of key places and constantly assessing the groups ability and conditions, we were able to summit which was a great achievement for the entire group.
