Direction: N 3.5k on E of river to footbridge; cross to W bank then ESE following Feith Mhor stream then S to woods, descend, cross river and ascend Leathad (path unclear); continue S to join track to Bruar lodge then follow track S on E bank of river to bothy, half way up valley side.
Description: As part of a trek through from Aviemore to Blair Atholl, staying in bothies. Started with a long diversion as a bridge was out and the river was in spate.

Area : Glen Tromie to Glen Tilt (Beinn Dearg)

This area includes the mountains in the Cairngorms National Park which lie between Glen Tromie in the west and Glen Tilt in the south of the park. The northern boundary is the River Feshie and to the south, the A9. There are four Munros in the area, the tallest being Beinn Dearg at 1008m, and the area is typically made up of peaty plateaux with the occasional pointy peak.
