Winter walk from the Austrian Village of Muhlbach am Hochkoenig to the mountain hut Kopphutte on the slopes of the HochKoenig massif.
The route followed the winterwanderwald route 87 through snow covered alpine meadows into forest before breaking out into the high alpages above the tree line. There were great views across the valley to the Radstadter Tauern and close up views of the massive rock face of the Hochkoenig. The return route followed the same track.
