
Starting from Pen y Pass I led an HF Holidays group of seven along the Pyg Track to the Summit of Snowdon. We then went SE and S over Allt Maenderyn to Bwlch Cwm LLan. We followed the path to the Quarry ruin and crossed the stream to visit Gladstone rock before rejoining the Watkin Path. We left this at the bottom of the Incline (623515) and traversed SE following the path to Craflwyn Hall. 15 km, 940m ascent.

Snowdon (Welsh: Yr Wyddfa) is the highest mountain in Wales, at an altitude of 1,085 metres (3,560 ft) above sea level, and the highest point in the British Isles outside Scotland. It is located in Snowdonia National Park (Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri) in Gwynedd, and has been described as "the busiest mountain in Britain". It is designated as a national nature reserve for its rare flora and fauna.
