This area encompasses all the crags in Strathspey north of Kingussie and also those in Strathnairn. These crags are described in the chapters of the SMC Highland Outcrops South guidebook entitled 'Strathspey' and 'South of Inverness', with the exception of Creag Dubh (which is in the West and Central Highlands region in DLOG).
in 3 pitches looking with mock clients. Climbed in series with the first building belays around mine then bringing up their second. A mixture of belays used. We also discussed systems for rating gear and putting that in to belay building to ensure they are adequate.
